Welcome To Reading-Ghana Seventh-day Adventist Church
Message
Welcome to Reading-Ghana Seventh-day Adventist Church, a vibrant Ghanaian church congregation that has become a second home for hundreds of West-African Adventists living in the United Kingdom. I bring you greetings in the name of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ! It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our church known as the “Grace Center” because we believe that our foundation in God is rooted in grace.
Our Mission
The official mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is to “make disciples of Jesus Christ who live as His loving witnesses and proclaim to all people the everlasting gospel of the Three Angels’ Messages in preparation for His soon return (Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, Revelation 14:6-12)”. Seventh-day Adventist is a global Christian denomination of over 23 million members who share a passion for Jesus Christ, and a hope in Christ’s promised return.
Our Belief
Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as their only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the teaching of the Holy Scriptures. These beliefs, as set forth here, constitute the church’s understanding and expression of the teaching of Scripture. The expression of these concepts help provide an overall picture of what this Christian denomination collectively believes and practices. Together, these teachings reveal a God who is the architect of the world. In wisdom, grace and infinite love, He is actively working to restore a relationship with humanity that will last for eternity.

“Women can be instruments of righteousness, rendering holy service. It was Mary that first preached a risen Jesus. . . . If there were twenty women where now there is one, who would make this holy mission (one-to-one ministry) their cherished work, we should see many more converted to the truth. The refining, softening influence of Christian women is needed in the great work of preaching the truth.” —Evangelism, 471
